Geschenke zum Valentinstag sollten vor allem eines: Von Herzen kommen. Frühstück im Bett, ein Wellness-Tag zu zweit oder ein romantisches Dinner zaubert so garantiert ein Lächeln auf die Lippen des Partners. Mit einem selbstgemachten Backkunstwerk für den Schatz trifft man außerdem mitten ins Herz, denn Liebe geht bekanntlich durch den Magen. Übrigens: Obwohl es unter den besten Bäckern und Konditoren weltweit viele Männer gibt, scheuen sich immer noch viele Herren der Schöpfung, den Backlöffel zu schwingen. Dabei lässt sich eine Valentinstorte mit kleinem Aufwand und großer Wirkung vergleichsweise einfach herstellen.

Sweets for my sweet – Backen mit Herz
Bei einer Valentinstorte oder einem Valentinskuchen zählen nicht nur die inneren Werte. Auch das Auge isst und liebt hierbei mit: Die beliebteste Form ist und bleibt natürlich das Herz. Tortenaufleger zum Beispiel aus Marzipan in Form von weiteren Herzen, Rosen oder einem Schriftzug bilden das dekorative i-Tüpfelchen. Ob mit süßen Früchten, auf Sahnebasis oder mit Mohn: Der persönliche Geschmack entscheidet natürlich über die Art der Torte oder des Kuchens. Mit einem Schoko-Backwerk liegt Ihr meist goldrichtig, wenn es um ein Valentinsgeschenk geht -  schließlich ist Schokolade immer noch Glücklichmacher Nummer 1 unter den süßen Lebensmitteln (z.B. mit Einsteiger-Schwierigkeitsgrad und Gelingsicherheitssiegel- unser Wiener Grießkuchen).

Eine Sünde wert – aphrodisierende Backzutaten
Apropos Schokolade – den Wirkstoffen der Kakaobohne wird eine aphrodisierende Wirkung nachgesagt. Auch andere Backzutaten haben es in sich: Ingwer zum Beispiel, enthalten in unserem Mini-Gewürzkuchen, wirkt stimulierend. Die ätherischen Öle bringen den Kreislauf ordentlich in Schwung und regen die Durchblutung an.
Echte Vanille, wie in unseren Windbeuteln, ist wertvoll, schmeckt einzigartig aromatisch und wirkt ebenfalls anregend. Weiterhin als Aphrodisiakum bekannt und für die bessere Durchblutung des Herzmuskels geschätzt,  ist der Granatapfel (z.B. als Zutat für unseren Bunten Marzipankuchen), der nicht umsonst als Lieblingsbaum der Aphrodite in die Geschichte einging und als Symbol der Liebe und Fruchtbarkeit gilt.
