Zubereitung

150 Gramm Margarine (Butter geht auch) schmelzen. Die Milch hinzugeben und auf etwa 37 Grad erwärmen. Die Hefe sowie Salz, Kardamom (Achtung, hiermit sparsam umgehen!), 150 Gramm Zucker sowie fast das ganze Mehl darin auflösen und gut kneten. Der Teig soll geschmeidig sein.
Den Teig abdecken und ca. 30-40 Minuten an einem warmen (nicht heißen) Platz gehen lassen.
Den Teig dann auf drei oder vier Teile aufteilen. Jeweils auf eine dünne rechteckige Fläche ausrollen und mit den restlichen 80 Gramm Margarine bestrichen. Diese hierfür auch schmelzen (soll flüssig sein).
Den Teig dann großzügig mit dem Zimt und restlichen Zucker bestreuen.
Anschließend den Teig zusammenrollen und von dieser Stange ca. 2-3 cm dicke Scheiben schneiden.
Die Scheiben auf ein Backblech legen (mit der geschnittenen Seite unten) und nochmals ca. 30 Minuten an einer nicht zu kalten Stelle ruhen lassen (Teig geht nochmals auf).
Die Kanelbullar mit Eigelb (nicht zuviel) bestreichen und Hagelzucker bestreuen.
Bei ca. 200 - 225 Grad auf der mittleren Stufe etwa 6-8 Minuten backen (Ofen soll vorgeheizt sein).
Auskühlen lassen und genießen!
Wahlweise kann man auch gehackte Haselnüsse oder Mandeln mit einarbeiten.
